Products are scored via the following metrics:

1. Profitability

Calculated based on the average price that the product is sold for on websites such as Amazon, Target, BestBuy and Walmart, compared to the average sourcing price from websites such as Aliexpress and Alibaba.

2. Niche Specificity

Calculated based on the historical purchasing behaviour of individuals who associate within that particular niche. Products which invoke emotion, such as those related to pets or sports, for example, tend to have higher niche specificity scores.

3. Adjusted Demand

Calculated based on the number of individuals making purchases of the product on a monthly basis, adjusted for the level of competition from other dropshippers and large retailers such as Amazon, Target, BestBuy and Walmart etc, selling the product.

4. Competition

Calculated based on the number of dropshippers and large retailers such as Amazon, Target, BestBuy and Walmart etc, selling the product. The lower the competition, the higher the competition score.
